The modular course Conference Interpreting: Czech-Ukrainian language combination is designed for individuals with high-level language skills who want to focus on the development of interpreting skills.
The modular course is geared towards expanding skills in the field of conference interpreting (simultaneous interpreting and high-level consecutive interpreting). There is no university in the Czech Republic teaching simultaneous or consecutive interpreting in this language combination. Participants will acquire the necessary skills and competencies, learn basic interpreting strategies, practice managing challenging and high-pressure communication environments, and enhance their language, general, cultural, and domain-specific knowledge in the given field.
This is a professionally oriented course for motivated participants with the essential language competencies, communicative skills, and interpreting prerequisites. The course aims to provide them with basic interpreter training potentially allowing them to work potentially as conference interpreters.
