Course description

The Lifelong Learning Program ? Clinical Training Level II in the field of Cat Diseases adheres to Act No. 166/1999 Coll., on Veterinary Care and on the Amendment of Certain Related Acts (Veterinary Act), Decree No. 331/2021 Coll., on the Organization of Training for Veterinarians Practicing Clinical Veterinary Medicine, Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on the Amendment and Supplementation of Other Acts (Higher Education Act), as amended, the Statute of the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno, the Lifelong Learning Regulations of the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno, and the Rules for Ensuring the Quality of Educational, Creative, and Related Activities and the Internal Evaluation of the Quality of Educational, Creative, and Related Activities of the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno.
The Lifelong Learning Program ? Clinical Training Level II in the field of Cat Diseases is organized as optional education for veterinarians practicing clinical veterinary medicine. It is designed to deepen the level of knowledge among veterinarians in clinical veterinary medicine. The training is conducted by experts from universities offering accredited master?s degree programs in veterinary medicine or veterinary hygiene, the State Veterinary Administration, private veterinarians, and, where appropriate, other specialists in the relevant field. At the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno, the Lifelong Learning Program is overseen by the Internal Evaluation Council, at the level of lifelong learning programs by the Lifelong Learning Council, and at the program level by the guarantor of the Clinical Training Lifelong Learning Program.
The Lifelong Learning Program ? Clinical Training Level II in the field of Cat Diseases builds on the Clinical Training Level I program in the field of Dog and Cat Diseases. The Level II program represents a higher level of difficulty, focusing on specialized knowledge, experience, and skills.
The goal of Clinical Training Level II in the field of Cat Diseases is to build upon the Clinical Training Level I program in the field of Dog and Cat Diseases and enhance education to the level of specialized knowledge, experience, and skills with a focus on the issues related to feline diseases.
