Course description

The Continuing Education Program - Clinical Education Level II in the field of Diseases of Cattle, Sheep, and Goats is governed by Act No. 166/1999 Coll., on Veterinary Care and the Amendment of Certain Related Acts (Veterinary Act), Decree No. 331/2021 Coll., on the Organization of Education for Veterinarians in Clinical Veterinary Medicine, Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and the Amendment and Supplementation of Other Acts (Higher Education Act), as amended, the Statute of the University of Veterinary Medicine Brno, the Rules for Continuing Education at the University of Veterinary Medicine Brno, and the Rules for Ensuring the Quality of Educational, Creative, and Related Activities and the Internal Evaluation of the Quality of Educational, Creative, and Related Activities at the University of Veterinary Medicine Brno.
The Continuing Education Program - Clinical Education Level II for the Diseases of Cattle, Sheep, and Goats is organized as optional education for veterinarians practicing in clinical veterinary medicine, aimed at deepening the level of knowledge of veterinarians in this field. The teaching is provided by experts from the university offering an accredited master's program in veterinary medicine or veterinary hygiene, the State Veterinary Administration, private veterinarians, and possibly other specialists in the relevant field. The Continuing Education Program is under the control of the Internal Evaluation Council at the University of Veterinary Medicine Brno, with the overall control of the Continuing Education Program under the Continuing Education Council, and at the program level, it is overseen by the program guarantor for Clinical Education.
The Continuing Education Program - Clinical Education Level II for the Diseases of Cattle, Sheep, and Goats builds upon the Clinical Education Level I program in the field of Diseases of Cattle, Sheep, and Goats. This second level of the program represents a higher degree of difficulty, focusing on specialized knowledge, experience, and skills.
The aim of Clinical Education Level II in the field of Diseases of Cattle, Sheep, and Goats is to deepen the education in specialized knowledge, experience, and skills, focusing on the problems associated with the diseases of cattle, sheep, and goats, following the Clinical Education Level I in the field of Ruminant Diseases.
