Course description
The AI Engineering course provides a systematic approach to using artificial intelligence in modern industrial engineering. Students will learn how to effectively utilize AI assistants and modern tools for the design, development, maintenance, and documentation of industrial systems, including control algorithms, PLC programming, robotic applications, and industrial process data analysis.
The course combines theoretical foundations with practical skills needed for modern industrial development: Linux and Bash scripting, Python programming, version control (git), cloud engineering, prompt engineering, context engineering, and rapid prototyping (vibe-coding). Emphasis is placed on applying these techniques in the context of industrial automation, cyber-physical systems, and Industry 4.0.
