The scholarship holder receives a monthly stipend, and an additional one-time support payment of 4 480 000 VND at the beginning of the stay. The attendance of state universities in Vietnam is provided free of charge, accommodation and meals are provided to the scholarship holder under the same conditions as to Vietnamese citizens. The accommodation is provided at the host university dorms.
The monthly scholarship amounts differ according to phase of studies:
- during the preparatory course of Vietnameese (before entering the study programme): 2 900 000 VND,
- after entering the study programme: 4 110 000 VND.
