The offer of research stays for academic staff of Czech universities is based on contractual obligations between the Czechia and the partner country. Applicants are responsible for finding a host university in their field of study.
In the first phase, candidates apply to the Czech partner – the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (MoEYS). The candidates submit an online scholarship application with the required attachments in Czech through this platform by the given deadline (see below). MoEYs will confirm whether the applicant will be included in the list of nominated candidates.
In the second phase, nominees submit their applications via the Hungarian partner's online registration system. The list of required documents and further information about the scholarship conditions in Hungary is available on the Tempus Public Foundation website. One of the required documents is a letter of acceptance issued by the Hungarian host university. The final decision on the acceptance of the nominated candidate rests with the foreign partner; the results are announced in June, at the earliest.
Information about the length of stay, the number of scholarships awarded, the requirements for the applicants and other conditions can be found in the offer details.
The scholarship is funded by the Tempus Public Foundation.
